TI-M: Probe Taib to avoid slide in graft index



Corruption watchdog group Transparency International-Malaysia (TI-M) urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to probe graft allegations against Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Its president Paul Low said today that "serious allegations of extraordinary corruption and abuse of power" against the top Sarawak family as it could cause the country's corruption index to plunge further.
